The art world is not a place for the weak. Current realities of the art industry take pity on no one, be it an emerging artist or a big-name maestro. To achieve success and gain recognition, one should work like a Trojan for years, without even knowing whether the fruits of the work will fulfill their expectations or not. A bright example of untiring perseverance and insatiable desire to create is Andrew J Fitt, a Trinidadian digital artist whose artworks will certainly tug at your heartstrings.
Digital artist who creates art despite anything
The life of the talented digital artist Andrew J Fitt is anything but simple. Andrew was born in 1973 on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean sea. He was born with an umbilical cord wrapped around his neck, which led to brain injury causing cerebral palsy. The outcome was tragic: the motor functions and muscle control of Andrew’s body were affected. However, every sky has a silver lining, and even a horrible neurological disorder could not stop the artistic soul from pursuing his goals.
That which once was a laughable dream became a reality. Andrew J Fitt recognized a possibility to become a digital artist when he was first introduced to the computer. Later in life, he majored in 3D Animation at the International Fine Art College in Miami. Thanks to his inner talent and, more importantly, hard work, the artist managed to transform his aptitude for digital graphics into captivating art.
Works made by Andrew J Fitt look authentic and bold. A long scale of tons and peculiar digital format perform a miracle. As of today, his artworks have already been featured at several solo and group exhibitions, including the well-known Art Basel Miami Beach. We highly recommend that you get acquainted with the digital art of Andrew J Fitt and read his autobiography titled Aching to Be to know more about this highly inspiring person who continues to create despite anything.
